Wesir's Depiction
by Djedetmiwesir © 2001- 2005

Wesir is almost always depicted in Human form, while it is more common for Wesir to be portrayed in the bandages of a Mummy (called Mummiform) as an expression of Wesir's state as the King and Judge of the Dead. Wesir can also be seen in the rarer depictation where he adorns the Kilt, Pectorals and Nemes of a Living King (Pharaoh) 1. Wesir can appear both enthroned, and standing, He wears the Atef Crown, with his Implements of power, sacred kingship and agriculture in his hands. The Crook, (Heq) and the Flail (Nekhakha). Wesir's skin color is most commonly Green, (the color of plants which he causes to grown) but it can also be Black/Brown (the color of Nile Silt). Wesir's colors are of Rebirth, Fertility, and Agriculture. Wesir can also be depicted as Ithyphallic, reminiscent of his fertility and domains of reproduction in animals and humans.
