Modern Devotion:
Poems of Wesir
by Djedetmiwesir/ Anne Turner ©2001- 2005

O Wesir! Pure and just, whom kings wish to sit with
My Father who is Patient and Kind
I wish to learn from what falls from your lips
I adore you beyond all compare
You Wesir who have always been, leading me by the hand
Even as I dragged my feet
My love is as eternal as you

I give thanks for blessings I have been given
I put my face to the Soil that sprouts for you.
May I learn from your example,
May I serve you as you please.
I am your daughter Proud!
Who sits at your feet and hungers for your praise
As I tug Gently at your Kilt.

(c) Djedetmiwesir--May 2001

In a moment

In a moment with my father,
I looked into my beginning, My Ending,
I looked at Eternity and marvled at it’s beauty.
I saw Kindness, Gentleness, beauty
And Strength. Wisdom, and an acceptance of all people
Places and things. Perfection of being, which
Humanitarians and Saints strive for.
I saw love, for mankind, but more so, for me
Perfection, and divinity that loved… me,
Was proud…. Of me.
I saw it all in his eyes, in a moment with my father.

In a moment with my father
I saw a peaceful grin
That spoke volumes, of heaven’s bounties.
Though they said nothing.
grin turned to a kiss upon my head,
With lips that spoke my ren,
and made me into existence
I felt my beginning, and what will one day take me away.
from this mortality to come and be with him,
I felt it, in a moment with my father

In a moment with my father
I saw and felt His pride, his love, his blessings
All for me, his daughter,
“My enduring one, Stable one, like me,
You are in good hands, Djedetmi,
In the hands of your father, DjedetmiWesir…”
My father,Whom I love more than I know,
Was as happy to smile at me,
To look on his creation, his daughter
With the pride and the love he feels for her
To kiss her head, perhaps not to bless,
But perhaps, because He could not resist,
Is almost more to comprehend,
But it happened, In a moment with my father.

In a moment with my father, I witnessed and felt the multitudes
that makes up the force of life.
What happened in a moment,
will take me an lifetime to understand
But lifetime, is really just a moment in the face of eternity
Which I have seen,
I will live this lifetime, this moment With my father…
until I come to be with him… In a moment.
